On a personal note, I don’t have any automotive-related New Year’s resolutions this time around. I will continually tinker with the Lunchbox but don’t have any ultimate goals. I have things I want to do, but may never get around to. I don’t have a list of vehicles I want to buy, because I have other things my money will be going towards in 2017. Though to rule out the possibility would be unwise.

Owning a Tercel is a lot like eating Maruchan Roast Beef-flavored Top Ramen voluntarily as an employed adult: It’s cheap. It’s familiar. It’s nostalgic. It’s disposable. It’s not healthy. You could do better, objectively. You’re not quite sure why you do these things to yourself.

Also, I’m excited to try this beer my wife got me.

My only automotive goals for 2017 are to just continue working on the three cars. Nothing major. I have some other stuff I’d to do in my work and romantic lives, though.

My automotive goal in ‘17 is to get something interesting from Turo - they have an M4, an S2000, and lots of S Classes ... we shall see.

I’m not sure it’s a good goal. But I want a second, “project,” car. Something old that runs and drives, but requires a bit of work.

However I have zero rational justifications for one :(

I guess I should just focus on not modding the Integra.
